Creation, that is what existed inside of me starting with a mosaic kit my parents gave me for my 6th birthday. Drawing, finger painting and singing were all installed under the hood.
 
During the past decade, my love of glass and mosaics has entered a new dimension. Of utmost wonder is the texture, color and levels of opacity that keep me intrigued.
 
I travel to the SeaTac area regularly to make the rounds at glass shops (thank you Big M), looking for the most beautiful colors to bring back to Santa Barbara.
 
During my most recent trip, I got to sit in ​Tacoma Glass Museum's Hot Shop where I was mesmerized by the Glory Hole (the 2100° oven which contains sand, soda and limestone aka glass) and several glass blowing artists work their wonders including Trenton Quiocho, who was a contestant on the Netflix show Blown Away.
